Come enjoy a weekly rotation of guided and chanted meditations. Kelsang Tangpa will teach the profound meaning of each chanted meditation, how to use the wisdom in our daily life and how these meditations bring about inner stillness, peace and clarity. The five Sadhanas (chanted meditations) we will use are described below.
Liberation from Sorrow, Praises and Requests to the Twenty-One Taras (Green Tara): Mother Tara is a manifestation of the wisdom of all the Buddhas. She protects and guides us in our personal development. This beautiful chant will calm your mind with her love.
Avalokiteshvara:: Commonly known as the Buddha of Compassion, he will guide us along the pure path to enlightenment, and we will receive special blessings to control our anger, attachment and self-grasping ignorance.
Meditation and Recitation of Solitary Vajrasattva: The Buddha of Purification helps us remove negativity from our minds. He purifies obstructions to developing faith and obstructions preventing the inner experience of the stages of the path to enlightenment.
Medicine Buddha: Medicine Buddha functions to release living beings from outer and inner sickness. By relying on Medicine Buddha we can cure our heavy physical and mental diseases.
Wishfulfilling Jewel: The Yoga of Je Tsongkhapa combined with the sadhana of his Dharma Protector: This meditation purifies our negativity, accumulates positive mental energy or merit, and bestows profound blessings so we can easily gain realizations of the path of Sutra and Tantra.
