What we offer

Our outreach meditation program is perfect for those who are curious about meditation, mindfulness, and effective methods for solving problems such as anxiety and stress. Participants learn how practically to use meditation and positive thinking to promote health and wellness by developing inner calm, peace, and well-being.

We have a number of experienced teachers at the Center and can hold sessions at your location or accommodate groups at the spacious Center itself. Classes generally include both guided meditation and practical instruction, and can be any length that is suitable for your needs and time.

Who we work with

We work with a wide range of community organizations, businesses, schools, companies, and nonprofits through outreach and public service initiatives. We are always seeking to expand our outreach to make meditation more accessible to everyone who can benefit from our programs.

Testimonials from our partner organizations

Denver Art Museum

"The Denver Art Museum’s partnership with KMC Colorado has expanded the ways our visitors experience the museum. The monthly 'happiness hour' in the galleries, led by Kadam Lucy James and other gifted meditation teachers, encourages us all to slow down, take notice, and relax. The guided meditations are accessible, and many visitors have expressed how meaningful it has been to participate." ~ Adult Programs Staff, Denver Art Museum

Denver Public Schools Arts Educators

"KMC Colorado added invaluable wisdom to our arts educator professional development course. As teachers serving our students everyday, it is easy to feel overwhelmed with meeting the needs of all parties invested in our children’s future. Some educators were new to meditation, and all left expressing such gratitude to be guided back to their true nature. KMC Colorado’s impact not only touched the hearts of our educator group, but beyond to all the students these creative educators guide themselves." ~ Erin Grossi, Denver Public Schools, Equity and Equanimity in Education Professional Development

Community College of Aurora

"The people at KMC Colorado have always been extremely generous with their time and energy visiting and hosting my Comparative and Eastern religion courses. Whether it’s leading the class through guided meditations or answering questions about Buddhism, or even just how to approach everyday life problems, they have always taken the time and energy to help my students understand how to be more at peace in a difficult world. I am grateful for all they do." ~ Nate Bork, Community College of Aurora
