Join us for an auspicious Tara Day Celebration including prayers and a presentation of the play "The Life of Buddha" in sync with International Summer Festival.
Kadampa Buddhists have an especially close connection with Buddha Tara because she appeared directly to Atisha, the founder of Kadampa Buddhism, and promised to care for all his future followers. Join us for one or both chanted prayer sessions at 5:00pm and 7:00pm. We will use the powerful sadhana entitled, "Liberation from Sorrow - Praises and Requests to the Twenty-one Taras".
