Buddha's teachings are scientific methods for improving our human nature and qualities through developing the capacity of our mind. Scientific? Yes.
In this special talk, Gen Tsoglam will explain Buddha's scientific methods — systematic and reproducible — to increase our peace and cultivate stable happiness through training our mind with meditation.
Material science has brought us astounding external developments, but we are no happier. Of course! Because happiness is a state of mind, and so its causes lie in the mind. As an inner scientist we will learn to live lightly, with a flexibility of mind to respond to every situation constructively. By gaining insight into the mechanics of our own mind we can gradually make wisdom and joy our daily experience. Finally, we will reproduce the unshakable peace and authentic happiness that Buddha discovered within his own mind.
Bring a friend for a meaningful evening in Hermosa Beach. After the talk, just a few blocks away, enjoy food & drink at our Meditation Center with spiritual friends.
